New Everlast CD Sept 23rd

Blues/Rapper Everlast releases his new album September 23rd entitled “Love, War & The Ghost of Whitey Ford”. The album cam eout of the box with the single “Letters home of from the garden of stone” an anti-war anthem written from a soldiers point of view. E then dropped his hopped up version of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” complete with a sampel from Cypress Hill’s Insane in the Membrane, very dope if you’re a Cash fan. The disc will be released independantly and will be Everlast’s first since the dissapointing “White Trash Beautiful”. To keep up on what Everlast is up to, check out his blog on his site Martyr Inc. Here Everlast hits the comments routinely and even interacted with some fans about the album leaking recently. I’ll get a full review up real soon.

i have a rough bootleg of the album, and everlast is my boy but i haven’t listened to it much lately. i put people up on folsom prison blues and they love it, that song is the shit…

my bootleg is kinda rough w/some songs getting cut early, some 30 secs, and missing 4 tracks kinda hurts, but everlast is my boy and is underrated as fuck…

can’t wait to see him @ the magic stick 9/26. i had tix for him in july when the show was cancelled b/c the album got pushed back.

    holla.
